Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions in addition to the floor workouts. For the balance beam Raisman was awarded a bronze. She became an elite American to earn many Olympic medals. As of 2016, she along with her teammate Gabby Doug were among the first Americans that won back-toback team gold medals. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she took off from competitive gymnastics for three years. Gold medal winner American team also took home the two World Championships. As a young girl She began learning gymnastics. Her favourite event is the floor exercise. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in honor of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. The future is bright for her as she is planning to create a profession from fashion. Also, she would like to increase her range of leotards and socks collection. Fierce is a book that she plans to release later this year.
